Bill & Ted Face The Music new photo meets the kids | SciFiNow

Bill & Ted Face The Music is almost in sight (it’s set to hit cinemas in July this year) and the filmmakers clearly know we’re desperate for it, having released a brand new still from the film.

Writer Ed Solomon gave us the first look at Bill and Ted’s kids via his Twitter account this week. Check it out below:

Bill & Ted Face The Music is set to introduce Ted’s daughter Billie Logan and Bill’s daughter Thea Preston for the first time. The characters are played by Brigette Lundy-Paine (Atypical) and Samara Weaving (Ready Or NotThe Babysitter) respectively.

The film will also star Keanu Reeves as Theodore ‘Ted’ Logan, Alex Winter as William ‘Bill’ S. Preston, Erinn Hayes as Ted’s wife Princess Elizabeth Logan, Jayma Mays as Bill’s wife Princess Joanna Preson, William Sadler as Grim Reaper, Holland Taylor as the Great Leader and Kristen Schaal as messenger Kelly, as well as Kelly Carlin, Anthony Carrigan, Kid Cudi, Jillian Bell, Hal Landon, Amy Stoch and Beck Bennett.

Here’s the synopsis for the film:

Now enduring the monotony of middle-aged life, William “Bill” S. Preston, Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan are warned by a visitor from the future of the need for them to create a song that will save all life on Earth and the entire universe. The pair work with their families, old friends, famous musicians, and each other to complete the task.

The film is directed by Dean Parisot and written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. It’s the third film in the Bill & Ted franchise after Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989) and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (1991).

Bill & Ted Face The Music will be in cinemas from 1 July 2020. Get all the latest sci-fi news with every issue of SciFiNow.
